By now, most of you know that Xbox 360 games will be made for the console with the latest graphics technology, and that some of them are designed with gamers in mind.
Some games may even have more complex and nuanced art direction than games made on PC or mobile.
In a new article for Edge, we’ve asked game designers, designers, and artists from all over the world to share their personal favorite and favorite game designs that reflect their artistic tastes.
Some are more traditional, while others are more modern and innovative.
Here’s a look at some of the best games for Xbox 360 design.
The game design and art direction team at Digital Extremes has a unique blend of artistic talent and technology.
The studio, which is also known as Team Ensemble, has worked on games like Halo 4, Destiny 2, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
We’re excited to see what the team comes up with next, and to continue to explore new directions for this popular franchise.
We’ve seen some fantastic games for Microsoft’s new console in the past.
Halo 5: Guardians, for example, was one of the first games to receive critical acclaim and become one of our top 10 Xbox 360 gaming experiences.
In addition to its gorgeous visuals, Halo 5 is a complex, deep, and engaging game that takes you into a world where you’re constantly interacting with other people and enemies.
But we’ve never seen a game like Halo 5’s design or game-design team in our careers.
So we asked them to share some of their favorite games for their personal tastes.
First up, we asked our team members to tell us their favorite game design on Xbox 360.
We also asked our staff at Digital Foundry to share the best and most inventive designs.
They included some of our favorites, too, such as a stunningly simple take on Halo 4’s Spartan Ops that reimagines the Halo franchise as a sandbox-style RPG.
We’ll let you decide if these designs are your cup of tea.
