‘Game of Thrones’ star dies of brain cancer

A Game of Thrones star has died of brain tumor, it was announced on Tuesday.

A source close to the family said that the 48-year-old actor, who played Hodor on the HBO show, died after a night of drinking.

Hodor died Tuesday night at a Los Angeles hospital.

He was the oldest child of the late George R.R. Martin, who is the author of the fantasy novel A Song of Ice and Fire and the TV show.

He is survived by his wife, Sophie, and children Liam, 14, and Joseph, 15.
